Roof Repair
HEAT
During summer it gets hot, 90’s and 100’s outside and your attic can get to 140+ degrees . Many attics aren’t ventilated well and this heat can cause hot spots that can weaken the roofing material around them.
Rain
Many roof types can experience damage from rain. When blown in the right direction, it can get underneath the surface and cause mold and rot. You may need more than roof repair if not caught in the early stages.
Wind
Winds during thunderstorms can tear off shingles. If the shingle is still intact but not entirely damaged, it can allow moisture underneath and cause mold. With wind damage, you should seek roof repair.
UV Rays
Shingles are coated with protective granules. They can be damaged by tree limbs and hail and other debris. UV rays can then damage unprotected areas and leave weak spots. If caught early roof repair can be cheap.
Age
We recommend having your roof inspected every 5 years. Roof inspections can catch problems early. Older roofs that have not been inspected may need serious roof repairs. You can schedule your roof inspection here.
Leaves
Leaves left on roofs for extended periods of time can retain moisture under them and cause shingle damage, mold and rot. It’s recommend to clear away clusters of leaves that have been sitting for extended periods.
